"Sami Thinking" a unique original stone lithograph created by Edna Hibel in Boston prior to 1974, in one color plus hand-applied oil paints on silk, excellent condition, privately owned since purchased in the 70s.  Sami is Edna Hibel's first grand-daughter.

This very unique piece is an original stone lithograph. An early piece done prior to 1974. This interesting and delightful work is one color, artist proof and pencil.  Hand signed by Mrs. Hibel to include additional artist's notes.  Beret was purchased in the early 1970's from a Gallerie on Rue Royal in the French Quarter (Gallery Veronese)  of New Orleans. This piece has been in the possession of the original owner since that time.  Beret exudes a richness and a depth of simple, childlike beauty and surely captures the essence of Edna Hibel's most classic work.  Beret has become like an old and dear friend; always provoking a smile and heartfelt appreciation for the elegance of Mrs. Hibel's creations.
